Welcome to Radio UK International, Europe’s brightest all genre music radio station, broadcasting from the UK 24/7.
Radio UK International was initially created from an amalgamation of Radio Basingstoke, Radio Alton (Wey Valley Community Radio) and Radio Bracknell (now continuing as a community station as Hug Radio and Radio Bracknell Forest). The new format reflected the worldwide audience which the local stations attracted as people across Europe, and globally, enjoyed listening to our varied music offerings.
Many radio stations say, like us, that they offer “the widest choice of music” but spare a minute or two to look at our expansive schedule and see the vast variety of shows to suit all tastes – showing that we deliver on our promise! We also make it possible for all our shows to be repeated at different times to suit various time zones around the world.
Radio UK International is available on all i-phones & i-touch, Android, any mobile phones that have access to the Internet, the new generation of in-car internet radios along with the Sony PSP handsets, plus all the various models of wi-fi radios and of course any PC or Mac.

Win tickets to see the amazing "Buddy Holly - A legend reborn" show
We have teamed up with the promoters of the spectacular live concert show Buddy Holly – a Legend Reborn to give two lucky readers/listeners the chance of winning a pair of tickets to see the spectacular production at the The Anvil, Basingstoke on Friday 8thJune, 2012.
Fresh from performing sell-out shows throughout the UK, Buddy Holly – A Legend Reborn stars Marc Robinson, the UK’s number one Buddy, and John-Simon Rawlings from the West End musical Buddy as The Big Bopper, the spectacular live production brings to life classic hits such as Peggy Sue, That’ll be the Day and Oh Boy.
Special guests for this sparkling, all-new production include the UK’s number on Elvis Presley, Paul Lillie, the Fortt Brothers as the Everly Brothers plus a stunning tribute to Connie Francis.
Backed by a band reminiscent of the Crickets in their Fifties heyday, Buddy Holly – A Legend Reborn is an authentic slice of rock ’n’ roll nostalgia that ensures Buddy’s incredible legacy of unforgettable hit songs lives on.
Headlined by Stars in Their Eyes winner in Marc Robinson, he is joined by fellow winners of the hit TV show the Fortt Brothers. Real-life brothers The Fortts are UK’s number one live Everly Brothers tribute. Since appearing as Don and Phil Everly in 1994 on Stars in Their Eyes, they have earned a formidable reputation with their live show, including headlining a Royal Command Performance.
Completing the line-up is Tracey Lea as Connie Francis.
Buddy Holly – A Legend Reborn features Marc Robinson, clutching a Fender Stratocaster, sporting a pair of heavy-rimmed glasses, and sounding exactly like Buddy in his heyday.
